Stained Glass

Stained Glass windows have been a staple in traditional churches for many generations.  Back when the general public struggled with reading or had no access to bibical scripts, stained glass windows and the stories they told with icons and symbols became powerful teaching tools.  Many a parent through the years have told the story of Jesus to their families by the visual images gleaming through the beautiful windows and glistening in the eyes of their children.  

These beautiful windows were designed and donated by a member in honor of her mother. 

The left window represents the parable of the "Ninety-Nine sheep"; where Jesus leaves the flock to go back for one lost little lamb.  Luke 15.1-7

The right window represents the celebration of the "Last Supper" when Jesus changed the meaning of the Passover meal to represent His saving act on the cross for all humankind.  Matthew 26.26-28; Mark 14.22-24; Luke 22.19-20; 1 Corinthians 11.23-25
